September 6, 2022 - National Lacrosse League (NLL) - Albany FireWolves News Release

ALBANY, NY - The Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announce that the team will host a player tryouts and development camp on Wednesday, October 26, and Thursday, October 27 on the FireWolves field at the MVP Arena in Albany from 6-8 p.m. on each day.

The tryouts are open to any interested players who have played either collegiate lacrosse or have relevant high-level box/indoor lacrosse experience. Players will participate in various drills, physical fitness testing, and scrimmages with the FireWolves' 2022 draft picks while competing for a spot on the training camp roster. Attendees are required to bring appropriate practice attire, equipment, and shoes (no cleats), and all participants will receive a FireWolves practice pinnie.

"Since the FireWolves arrived last season, we have noticed there is a lot of lacrosse talent in the Capital Region, and we would like to see if that talent translates to the box game," said George Manias, President of the FireWolves. "We hope to find a diamond in the rough and encourage both local and national lacrosse players to attend our camp to show us what you got!"

To register for the tryouts, visit www.AlbanyFireWolves.com/Tryouts. The cost of the tryout will be $75 in advance or $85 walk up. Sign-in for the camp begins at 5 p.m. each day with the tryouts starting at 6 p.m. For more information, contact Jordan Manias, Director of Lacrosse Operations, at JManias@AlbanyFireWolves.com.
