INDIANAPOLIS – Head coach Paul Corsaro has added the final two pieces to the 2022-23 roster for the University of Indianapolis men's basketball team in Max Romanov and Indiana product David Ejah.

"The additions of David and Max provide several qualities to our team...experience, maturity, length, athleticism, and proven production," noted Corsaro. "Both David and Max are great young men who are excited to join the UIndy Family and make Greyhound fans proud!"

David Ejah hails from Fort Wayne where he graduated from Carroll High School and was a two-time All-State selection and two-time SAC league champion. The 6'7'' forward attended University of Saint Francis the past three years where he led the Cougars to a Final Four appearance his sophomore season.  Ejah was a three-time All-Crossroads League selection as well as an All-American honorable mention this past season after leading the Cougars with 305 rebounds. He averaged 19.9 points per game while adding 26 steals and 21 blocks.

"David is an Indiana High School basketball product who I have always admired as a player.  When our staff saw David had announced he was transferring on social media, we didn't waste any time trying to make sure that he ended up in a Greyhound uniform for the next two years," commented Corsaro. "David has been one of the top players in the country at the NAIA level, and we look for his success and skill set to transfer to our program and how we intend to use him."

Max Romanov joins UIndy from a familiar opponent in Rockhurst University.  The 6'8'' guard/forward averaged 11.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game with the Hawks.  Prior to Rockhurst, Romanov played at Southeastern Louisiana for two seasons. A native of Nahariya, Israel, Romanov attended Impact Basketball Academy in Las Vegas in 2018-19 where he averaged 18 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists per game.

"Max is a proven player in the GLVC.  Anytime someone averages double figure scoring and respectable rebounding averages in our conference, it does not go unnoticed," complimented Corsaro. "Max is also an elite defender due to his length and athleticism.  Our hope is to have Max able to play this year, but he will have two years in a Greyhound uniform regardless, whether that begins this season or next."

These two signings bring Corsaro's roster to 16. The 2022-23 regular season begins on November 11 when the Hounds host Ohio Dominican inside Nicoson Hall. To view the complete schedule, click HERE.
