The Steph Curry offseason celebration tour is still rolling.
Along with adding his fourth NBA championship and an NBA Finals MVP award to his trophy case, the Golden State Warriors point guard earned his college degree from his alma mater during the 2021-22 season.
After finishing his Bachelor of Arts in sociology at Davidson in May, Curry was unable to walk across the stage and receive his degree at graduation due to the NBA playoff schedule. However, the Davidson legend got the full graduation experience on Wednesday.
Davidson hosted a special ceremony for Curry at Belk Arena on campus on Wednesday. Dressed in his cap and gown, the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player received his diploma.
Curry’s parents, Sonya and Dell , spoke at the ceremony along with his college coach Bob McKillop .

On top of graduating, Curry saw his No. 30 jersey lifted into the rafters at his college arena. Curry was the latest member to be inducted into the Davidson sports Hall of Fame. Curry’s No. 30 jersey will be the first number retired and removed from the rotation of basketball jersey numbers. No player will get the chance to wear No. 30 in the future for Davidson.

During his three-year stint with Davidson, Curry averaged 25.3 points per game on 46.7% shooting from the field and 41.7% shooting from long distance. In 2008, Curry helped lead the Wildcats on a Cinderella run to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament. In 2009, Curry was a consensus All-American with Davidson. At the end of his career, Curry was the all-time leader in points, made 3-pointers and steals.
