CAROL Vorderman has sent pulses racing after posing for a sexy selfie while wearing a tight sports bra.

The 61-year-old star left little to the imagination as she snapped a couple of photographs during a sweaty gym session.

Carol was grinning at the camera in her pictures and admitted to a newfound love of dumbbells.

Sharing the sizzling snaps on Instagram, Carol wrote: "Think I’m hooked on dumbbells.

"One of last week’s sessions in the heat."

Fans were quick to comment, with one telling the former Countdown host: "Looking absolutely fantastic!"

Another wrote: "Wow you’re gorgeous!"

A third even cheekily mused: "And a fine pair of dumbbells they are too!" 

In August, Carol revealed she dropped two dress sizes in two weeks during a summer juice retreat in Portugal.

The star, who has been no stranger to working out in recent years, showed off her dramatic weight loss while posing in denim hot pants.

She has since hit out at trolls who criticised her, however, saying: “To anyone who says you shouldn't do 'this or that' at a certain age...and is still living in the 20th or even 19th century....please bear this in mind when you’re attempting to troll any woman no matter what their age ...

"I love my life ❤️ I’m alive and fit and happy.....but do you know the strongest bit of my body now?

"It’s my middle finger.....and I use that middle finger without apology....so a word from the wise. Calm Down and Smile and join the happy crowd. It’s much a much nicer place to be."

Meanwhile, Carol has just returned from filming  I’m A Celebrity All Stars in South Africa.

She was a huge hit on the 2016 series after a flirty friendship with comedian Joel Dommett, 37.

Now, ITV bosses hope she will provide glamour for the spin-off, which will be broadcast next year.

A source said: “Carol was always top of producers’ wishlist; in some ways she was the perfect campmate.

“She was funny, outspoken and intelligent and let’s just say she gave the younger girls a run for their money in the jungle shower.

“Her flirtations with Joel were one of the big talking points of the series so signing up Carol for All Stars looks like a no brainer.”
