Nike has done it again. Every year I wonder how they will top the previous year’s line of marathon gear, and every year they do it.

This collection is gorgeous to look at, eye catching and on point in all of the latest design styles. The color collection is sharp and design work is an amazing reflection of our fine city. But beyond that, the gear is performative. It was clearly designed by runners, for runners. The soft material, sweat wicking fabric, and light textures are all made for fast, cool running, ensuring comfort on all levels. I am so impressed with this year’s designs and know you will be too!

Catch a sneak peek below and order ahead, if they still have your size! But, don’t fear, Nike will be back at the expo this year with racks and racks of all of the gear you see below and more. If you recall, last year, Nike employed an order ahead process, where runners ordered their gear at the expo and picked it up from the pop-up shop on Michigan Avenue. This was an innovative idea, designed to cut down on crowd gathering, due to the pandemic. This year, the full shop will be right at McCormick, so runners can see, feel, touch, and try on all of the great items Nike has created for us. Take a look below and start your wish list for next weekend!

The Nike Dri-FIT One Top is our most versatile shirt, designed for all the ways you work out—including the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Soft, smooth fabric comes in a breathable silhouette to keep you cool and dry as the miles tick by.

I can attest to this being one of the softest shirts I’ve ever had the pleasure of wearing. It is ideal for fall mornings when it begins cool and warms throughout the miles. This non-clingy fabric billows around your body, allowing the air to pass through and keep you cool. Plus, I mean, just look at how sharp that design is! It so clearly captures the essence of Chicago runners.

Talk about the perfect tank for fall running. This sweat wicking fabric is water resistant and allows air to pass through, cooling the body. It’s also incredibly soft and chafe resistant in all of the right places.

The training is done. You’re ready to step foot on the starting line of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Let our Rise 365 Top help take you to the finish. It’s no secret that I am a leggings girly. In fact I own only leggings for both casual and athletic wear. It’s leggings or professional dress for me, every day of the week. And when you throw pockets in a pair of leggings, I just can’t control myself. I am crazy about this style of legging created by Nike and the Chicago Marathon branding makes them even better. I have several pairs of this style, because they stay put when I run. There’s no sagging with the epic luxe. They have the right amount of compression that stays even after several washes, so I’m a believer of this style and am so excited to see it branded to Chicago!
