It's hard to imagine a more memorable career start than competing in the world's only night golf tournament just 15 minutes from home. Coupled with this professional player who happens to be a 15-year-old high school student who is 6 feet tall and can produce dizzying power, this is also Chiara Noja's headline debut at the Dubai Moonlight Classic this week.

The German-born player grew up in England and moved to Dubai shortly before the Dubai Moonlight Classic last year. After almost only participating in LET's Access series of professional events this season, she won the runner-up in Belgium, and Noja decided it was time to take the next step. Although she won't reveal all the content of the upcoming schedule, Noja said the wait is great.

"When I knew I was ready to compete as a professional, I didn't want to give up these opportunities," she said.

Noja said the family knew that winter training in England was not suitable to take her game to the next level. When her mother got a job offer in Dubai, they made a decision last year. Soon thereafter, Noja received an invitation to make her 14-year-old debut at LET at the Dubai Moonlight Classic.

However, after hitting an 86 in the second round, she admitted on Instagram that after returning to the hotel, she could not imagine returning to the court in the final round.

"I can't cope with the pressure," Noja wrote. "There are still millions of people watching TV, and the result is a complete collapse."

In retrospect, due to the restrictions of COVID-19, there were very few golf tournaments in Dubai, which made her feel very “unsure” of herself as a 14-year-old athlete. However, after a long conversation with her team, she followed up with a score of 73 and 86 points, but she was speechless about the reverse transfer.

Although she participated in this year's tournament as a professional player, she hopes to have less expectations. She said that she hopes her attitude will define her golf, not the other way around.

"This year I have grown mentally a lot," she said. "Whether I am willing to accept failure or not, accepting failure is part of it."

The Dubai Moonlight Classic will be held from October 27th to 29th at the Faldo Course of the Emirates Golf Club. Former No. 1 Ariya Jutanugarn, sister Moriya, and 18-year-old Thai player Attaya Thitikul are the stars in the field. He leads LET's Race to Costa del Sol by more than 1,400 points. Thitikul is currently ranked 28th in the world.

Captain Catriona Matthew, who won the Solheim Cup, Laura Davis, member of the World Golf Hall of Fame, and LPGA players Maria Fassi and Bronte Law are other invitees for the event.

Just like Ariya Jutanugarn, Davies and Fassi, the length of Noja has caught people's attention. Her tee-off distance averaged 280 yards, but she said that when she practiced hard, she could reach 290 yards on TrackMan.

The athlete was involved in horse riding, swimming, tennis, and track and field sports while growing up, but found that golf is her deepest love.

The powerful, statue-like Nelly Korda is her source of inspiration. When Korda became the number one in the world, Noja thought she could do it one day.

"When I looked at her," Noah said, "I seemed to see myself."

LET Qualifying School will be held in December, but Noja does not meet the minimum age requirement for the tour16.

"We are looking at whether it is possible to solve this problem," she said.

"I am really worried about the way the city of Boca Raton handled this huge gift to them."

When Carr McCalla, the now retired executive director of the Louisiana Golf Association, won the International Association of Golf Masters Award for Outstanding Service, three words kept appearing—integrity, leadership, and enthusiasm.

Keeping these three words in mind, Carl's protégé Logan Ray took over the LGA at the end of 2017 and took the association to new heights.

When asked about Karl, his mentor and friends, Ray said with some respect. "He set an invaluable example for me. His influence on me is not only in the office,...
