TAMPA (October 14, 2022) – The University of South Florida men's golf team will remain in the Sunshine State for their second-to-last outing of the fall season set for October 16-17. The Quail Valley Collegiate will be played at the Quail Valley Golf Club in Vero Beach.

The Bulls placed sixth at the 15-team Marquette Intercollegiate on October 2-3 in Milwaukee. South Florida posted its best 54-hole score of the season with an 863 – 11 strokes better than the previous tournament.

The Marquette Intercollegiate capped an extended road trip for USF that saw the Bulls also play in Illinois on September 26-27 before heading to Wisconsin.

USF's second-round score of 284 was the second-best in the field at the Marquette Intercollegiate.

Runchanapong Youprayong paced the Bulls with a score of 215 to finish in sixth place individually.

Teams will play 36 holes on Sunday and finish with 18 holes on Monday. Play will begin on Sunday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start with round three teeing off on Monday at 8 a.m. off the first and 10th holes.

Head coach Steve Bradley has announced the following lineup for USF: Runchanapong Youprayong, Jake Peacock, Sam Nicholson, Shubham Jaglan and Nino Palmquist. Chase Gullikson will also compete as an individual.

South Florida will compete in the 16-team field with: Cincinnati, Indiana, Liberty, Maryland, Memphis, Michigan State, Missouri, North Florida, Northern Illinois, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Penn State, Rutgers, Toledo and Wisconsin.  

About USF Men's Golf USF men's golf program has captured 17 conference titles, including in 2021, and have seen players earn 19 All-America honors. The Bulls have won five of the last six American Athletic Conference Tournament championships in wire-to-wire fashion, winning four-consecutive from 2015-18. The Bulls have had four individual conference champions, including Albin Bergstrom in 2021, and gone on to earn eight straight NCAA Regionals appearances, including a 6th place finish in NCAA Championship match-play in 2015. USF is led by  Steve Bradley , who has been named American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year five times since taking over the program in 2014. The Bulls have posted 20 tournament wins under Bradley entering the 2022-23 season, by far the most under any coach in program history.
