Delland-Carly Lloyd belongs to the world, but her heart is in Delland.

On Thursday night, at Delland Community Park, Lloyd gathered with hordes of admirers to celebrate her retirement from international and professional football, as her career witnessed her playing in the town of Delland that she fell in love with as a child competition.

The Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Union, and statewide politicians paid tribute to Lloyd, which made the gathered crowd happy. The event ended with the dedication of Carli Lloyd Field in Delran Community Park. The venue is only a few yards away from the venue of Delran High School where Lloyd first became famous in New Jersey and later became famous worldwide.

Lloyd said: "Being able to enter the field, be able to practice and play, this is indeed the most important aspect of youth sports." "I have no goals in the backyard. I don't have a big backyard to run around, but I am very Be creative. I have an imagination. I will walk to the (Peter) Vermes Stadium and practice by myself. In order to be able to be on that ground, I shoot into those nets time and time again. I play with boys on those grounds Pickup. That is my foundation and the way I started this journey."

The Burlington County Council declared October 14th as Cali Lloyd's Day. This is the first time that an individual has been awarded such an honor. The state legislature issued an announcement. U.S. Representative Andy King brought a statement from the U.S. Congress to commemorate Lloyd's success.

Before speaking directly to Lloyd, King said: "It is an absolute honor and honor to be able to participate in this to congratulate Cali for everything." "We all grew up here. Looking at everything you do, We are very proud. I am very grateful to you for inspiring my children, and all the other children who dream big here, when you grow up in the city, when you come to Burlington County, know what is possible. You Not only did you inspire the people of Carli in our community, you inspire people across the United States."

Glenn Crooks, Lloyd's college coach at Rutgers University, shared some memories of Lloyd. The Philadelphia Union sent a video to congratulate Lloyd for his contribution to Philadelphia football. The video presentation of the Philadelphia Eagles was narrated by tight end Zach Ertz and his wife Julie Ertz (Lloyd’s USWNT teammate). Lloyd also won the Eagles' No. 10 jersey.

Delran Mayor Gary Catrambone talked about Lloyd's impact on the community and her strong embrace of her hometown.

"Every time she is shown on TV or in the area, she is always introduced as Delran's Carli Lloyd," Catrambone said. "There is nothing better than this. She has always inspired our children, not just football children, all children. They all want to succeed. Hope they can get this picture. You have to work hard, if you work hard, you Will succeed in the world."

"I will never forget where I came from," Lloyd said. "I've been on this journey and this journey around the world, and have met some amazing people. I live in a different state. But New Jersey still has something.

"My husband Brian (Holins) and I live in Medford. We just love this area. We love to be part of South Jersey. I will never forget the town I grew up in. I never I will forget those memories, friendships, and everything that really got me started."

New York/New Jersey Gotham Football Club, Lloyd’s professional team ended the regular season on Harrison’s Halloween. On October 21st and 26th, Lloyd will have two more games on his farewell trip to USWNT. Both games were against South Korea. In November, Lloyd will officially become a person with leisure, at least from a football perspective.

Thursday night is an opportunity to celebrate Lloyd's football career in four World Cups and four Olympic Games. She has scored 134 international goals in her career, ranking fifth in football history. In this career, she has played more international games than any other player.

Lloyd gradually fell in love with the game at the Peter Wilmes Stadium, which was named after one of Delland's favorite sons, who played for the US men's national team. Now, Carli Lloyd Field can be a source of inspiration for regional athletes to pursue their dreams.

Lloyd arrived at the community park more than an hour before the event officially started. As always, she spends most of her time talking with blessers, taking selfies with young fans, and sharing her gratitude with the crowd admiring her.

"It's really special, and I'm really happy to be able to bring a wonderful celebration to this city," Lloyd said. "Hope I can inspire the next generation of girls and boys to truly pursue their dreams, and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t achieve something. It just tells you that I grew up in a very small town in New Jersey, and I still do Here I am. I still opened up this path to put myself in a successful position. It only requires a lot of hard work, dedication and love for what you do."
