GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Welcome to the May 9 edition of the Gloucester Township Monday Manual, where we highlight important events coming up this week in and around Gloucester Township.

On Tuesday, the Camden County Commissioners are presenting two virtual Chair Yoga sessions for Gloucester Township's older adults who are aged 55 years and older. Each session lasts an hour. The first session starts at 11 a.m. and the second session starts at 1 p.m.

On Wednesday at 7 p.m., the Gloucester Township Zoning Board of Adjustment at holds a meeting inside the township building. Some of the items on the agenda include variance requests for properties on Diana Drive and Downs Avenue.

On Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Gloucester Township Courtroom, the kickoff meeting for the Gloucester Township Police Department's annual National Night Out celebration gets underway.

On the same day, and at the same time, the Kona Ices of Haddonfield and Washington Township will donate 25% of all their sales for the next several hours to the Blackwood Elementary School.

On Thursday at 7 p.m., the Kanopy Movie Buff Film Club, which is part of the Camden County Library System, will hold a virtual event that consists of watching, analyzing and debating the 2016 film titled "20th Century Women."

On Saturday at 8 a.m., a Community Yard Sale and Clothing Drive will take place in the parking lot of Highland High School.

At the same time, but at the Timber Creek Regional High School, the Class of 2023 shows off their inner Martha Stewarts and other creative types by holding a craft fair.

Also on Saturday at Timber Creek Dog Park, but beginning at 10 a.m., the Gloucester Township Police Department hosts a Dog Walker Watch and Bike Rodeo.

At the same time on the same day, the Stewards of Open Space Camden County holds a cleanup of Signal Hill, Bottom Lake and Big Timber Creek in Clementon. Pre-registration is a must and can be done by emailing hoganphoto@verizon.net.

A third event starting on Saturday at 10 a.m., the Camden County Library System hosts a virtual tour of Rome – from what the library calls "the neighborhoods to the hidden gems." No passport is required.

The busy Saturday in and around Gloucester Township winds down with the virtual D&D event (D&D equals Dungeons and Dragons, for those who do not know) that the Camden County Library System is putting on that starts at 2:15 p.m.
