Philadelphia Union and Lapstone & Hammer, a Philadelphia based premier lifestyle brand, have come together to create a collaborative capsule collection ahead of the team’s 2022 playoff run. The collection, featuring bespoke hoodies, crewnecks, tees, long sleeve tees, and socks, was created with design input from Head Coach Jim Curtin and Philadelphia Union Captain Alejandro Bedoya. The collection will be available this Saturday, October 15.
“It’s a special project for us, to work together with the Philadelphia Union and Major League Soccer and bring some of our design aesthetic and some of our overall vibe into a special collection commemorating the 2022 season and playoffs,” said Brian Nadav, Lapstone & Hammer.
The Lapstone & Hammer for the Philadelphia Union collection features two special co-branded logos infused with the DNA of both the Union and Lapstone displayed across a colorful range of hoodies, crewnecks, long and short sleeve tees, and socks.
The highlight of the capsule is undoubtedly the “Curtin” Jacket - a classic coach’s jacket inspired by Head Coach Jim Curtin, each piece hand numbered and autographed by Coach Curtin himself. The Denim Arch Hoodie is another standout, coming in four colors that all feature premium 14oz denim appliqué laser-cut letters sewn on in a classic ‘varsity’ style arch across the chest, and a custom graphic on the back that intertwines the Union’s snake logo with a denim appliqué LH logo
